Website Username Request Process
Information protection on the Internet is serious business. There are some things we just don't want to make public, such as photos of our families as well as association member names and phone numbers. It is important for us to know who is viewing this protected information on the Highland Valley website. For this reason, we have instituted the following policy:
We must be able to identify who you are by your Username. So please use some combination of your first and last name when requesting an Id.
The id request process goes something like this:
- You request and Id through the website by clicking on the New Account Signup link in the Log In box to the left of the page.
- I will receive an email notifying me that you requested access.
- I will review the request and check to see if I can verify your identity by your username and email address. If I do not have your email address on file, I will ask you to provide another means of identification, such as phone number. If you have not requested a valid username, I will ask that you request another one.
- After I have verified your identity, and ensured that you have a Username that clearly identifies you, I will grant you access to the website and send you a notification via email.
ALTERNATIVELY
If you don’t want to signup through the website, but would like to get access, you can just send me an email with your name and say "hey Doug, sign me up!", and I will take care of it for you!
You are welcome to contact me at doug.cyporyn@eds.com if you ever have any questions regarding the website.
Sincerely,
Doug Cyporyn
